Goals
Goals are targets you attach to a single portfolio or to your whole net worth, tracked with progress bars everywhere the portfolio appears. They turn "I want this account to reach €100,000" into something the app measures for you.
Goal types
Five types are available:
- Total value — reach a target value.
- ROI — reach a target return-on-investment percentage.
- Yearly income, Monthly income, Daily income — have the portfolio generate a target amount of income per period.
A portfolio can hold up to five goals, one per type.
Portfolio goals vs net-worth goals
Goals on a portfolio track that portfolio only. Net-worth goals — managed from the net worth card on the dashboard — track the combined value or income of everything you own.
Creating and managing goals
Add goals when creating a portfolio (every creation form has a Goals section) or later via Manage Goals — on the planner card menu or the portfolio detail page. The Manage Goals dialog handles adding, editing, deleting and drag-to-reorder.
Goal currency
A monetary goal's target is stored in a currency you choose (defaulting to the portfolio's currency, or your preferred currency for net-worth goals). Goals always display in their own currency first; when you are viewing in a different currency, a muted ≈ line underneath shows the converted value. ROI goals are percentages and are never converted.
Where progress shows up
- Progress bars on planner cards and in the portfolio detail page's Goals section.
- The Goals tab of each periodic report records progress as of the period close.
- The Manage Goals dialog links to Check the odds in Planning — a Monte Carlo estimate of how likely you are to reach the target (see the Planning & projections guide).
