Income calendar

The income calendar (at /income-calendar) gathers all the money your portfolios pay you — dividends, deposit maturities, savings interest, rent, pension income — onto one calendar, mixing what has already happened with what is expected next.

What appears on the calendar

Three kinds of events:

  • Actual — income entries already recorded in your portfolios.
  • Generated — income the app computes from your settings: deposit maturities, projected savings interest, monthly rent from a property's rent history, and a fixed-income pension's monthly payment.
  • Forecast — upcoming dividends for your open holdings positions.

Each event shows the amount and the portfolio it comes from; days and months aggregate their totals.

Reading the grid

Every day that has income shows its total for that day, converted to your display currency, next to small pills counting the events by type. The total is green when the money has already arrived and blue when it is still expected — hover it to see the amount with its currency. Select a day to list its individual events beside the calendar.

The summary strip

Above the calendar, one strip of figures — total, reinvestments, payouts and forecast — describes the period you pick with the switch beside the view tabs: the month you are looking at, or the whole year. Move the calendar to another month and the figures move with it.

What's coming next

Separately, a line at the top of the page sums up income you have not received yet: the total expected from today onward, the monthly average, and how it splits between dividends and everything else. Unlike the strip, it doesn't follow the calendar — it always counts forward from today, and it prints the exact dates it covers underneath. "Next 1 month" on 6 August means 7 August to 6 September, so it is not the same figure as August's total: it leaves out the first week of August and includes the first week of September, and it counts only income still to come.

Forecast horizon

The Project ahead control (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) sets how far ahead income is projected. It applies to the whole page, so it decides both the window that "what's coming next" sums up and how far into the future the calendar shows forecast events at all. The default is 3 months.

How dividend forecasts work

For each open position the app takes the asset's next declared dividend (or the provider's projected one) and repeats it forward at the asset's payment frequency — quarterly, monthly, and so on — multiplying the per-share amount by the quantity you hold. Forecasts are future-only: stale provider dates are rolled forward along the cadence, never shown in past months.

Projected income panel

The portfolio detail page shows a matching Projected income — next N months panel for that portfolio: total projected income, monthly average, dividends, and other income, converted to your display currency.

Income settings

How a savings-style portfolio generates income is controlled by its Income settings (from the planner card menu or the detail page's Actions menu): the calculation mode, interest and tax rates, the day of the month income arrives, and how it splits between reinvestment and payout. Properties use their rent history instead, and fixed-income pensions use their monthly income and income day.
